Learning about business is so much more than simply learning about money and the selling of goods and services. All students encounter the world of business in their daily lives as business related activities are unavoidable.
The business studies curriculum teaches students to be well informed and educated consumers. It helps them develop life long skills that will allow them to adapt to an ever changing global economy, workplaces and technological environments. It teaches essential financial literacy skills that are required for sustaining and growing an economy and society.
The purpose and goal of this site is to support business education. My hopes are to get more students and teachers discussing business related topics and to encourage dialogue and collaboration. An investment in business education is an investment in a stable and prosperous future.
